Completed in 2007, the Roseau County Social Services Building provides the community with county services in an informal domestic setting and modest scale
to support clients and staff during occasionally stressful interactions. The lobby and reception area is laid out under a vaulted wood ceiling lit by clerestory to provide a
comfortable, casual waiting space. The reception area also incorporates a supervised playroom, controlled access to the rest of the building, public Internet access, and an
isolated service window to maintain client privacy.
