Klein McCarthy Architects worked with Pennington County to analyze the County's need to expand their court support and Government facilities. Operational data was reviewed and the client was engaged through a series of discussions and interviews. Relevant factors such as county population growth and staffing projections were also weighed in the determination of future space needs. Following the research, Klein McCarthy developed and evaluated several options for upgrading or expanding existing space at minimal cost. The final report presented these options and cost analyses which ranged from renovation of existing areas, additions and remodeling, adaptive re-use of neighboring buildings, to a new building.
