Construction commenced in early November 2009 on a remodel and expansion of an existing County Courthouse facility. Other than Courts and
Courts Administration, the entire existing facility is planned to be gutted and remodeled using new energy saving designs and materials to bring this 55 year old facility
up to modern codes and aesthetics. In addition to the remodel, an expansion of 2 levels containing a Law Enforcement Center, Courts Holding, and Dispatch will be added,
helping to create a true government Justice facility in an existing Courthouse. Construction is slated to be complete in late 2010/early 2011.
