After a successful Building Dedication, staffing, and training, the Kanabec County Sheriff's Office has transferred their inmate population and have begun
to operate their new 45,000 SF Jail facility and Dispatch Center.
The County's Jail Administrator has commented on the success of the new facility, "the DOC (Department of Corrections) has made a lot of comments about the great design of our
jail; line of sight, pod efficiency, etc. It all happened because of a great team." She commented further on the new state-of-the-art Dispatch facility, "This is one impressive
Dispatch Center! It looks like NASA with all the monitors, but most impressive is the peaceful quiet feeling with the appropriate lighting and efficient work stations."
