efficient justice facilities, including jails, courtrooms and law enforcement centers. Prior to joining the firm, Scott managed a regional
office of a national architecture-design firm and gained justice facilities operational and design experience through participation and
management of several projects throughout the Midwest.

With over twenty years of academic, government, and correctional project experience, Bruce has focused the last 15
years of his career on judicial architecture where he has developed a deep understanding of the spatial requirements for courts and
support spaces in federal, state and county facilities. His involvement in correctional projects over the years has kept him at the
forefront of trends in security and security and court technology design. Bruce understands the importance of proper planning,
scheduling, cost control, and the significance of good communication throughout a project. Court facilities represent symbols of
stability and substance in our communities, qualities that Bruce appreciates and works to define with the client and articulate in the
final design. Many of the projects Bruce has worked on have been recognized by local and national organizations for design excellence.
Rich McCarthy

As the former owner and president of Klein McCarthy, Richard McCarthy has been a practicing architect for over 32 years.
He is experienced in the leadership of design teams for major government and justice projects, and excels in project programming and
design. Richard's work on the original Ramsey County Juvenile Center received an AIA Honor Award from the Minneapolis Society, and
national recognition as a prototype in its field. Since that project, Richard has been responsible for the planning and design for
courts/government centers and jail/law enforcement facilities throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, Montana and Michigan.
